So, keep a fit diet after operation is very important.  Let us have a look at together.

1. Water: for patients who have accepted kidney transplant should drink more than 2000ml water every day. If appear oliguria(less than 400ml/day), patients should intake enough water 500-700ml.

3. Carbohydrate: take enough carbohydrate but not too much. Cereal, rice and pasta are good sources. Patients should not intake carbohydrate over 150-250g for each day. Pumpkin, potato and sweet potatoes can help to reduce cholesterol.

4. Protein: as patients take high quality protein is very important, you should take 1.2-1.5g for each day. Animal protein is better than plant proteins.

5. Calcium: you should eat some foods which contain rich calcium, such as milk and rib soup, to prevent Osteoporosis. You can add some vinegar when you boil your soup that can increase the dissolution of calcium absorption. But you should not take too much calcium, otherwise it will add workload to your kidney.
