Take The Suitable Food To Avoid The Excessive Salt To Avoid Kidney Damage

2018-09-14 15:46

In your daily life you should check your sodium intake. That is very important to your health, your condition deteriorates often by the excessive sodium intake in diet.Better known as salt, sodium can be very harmful to people with kidney problems. It is therefore essential to reduce your sodium intake throughout the day. Reducing your salt intake will help decrease water retention in your body and also control blood pressure, which can help improve your health.

Buy foods with no added salt or low sodium.

Always check the nutrition labels for the amount of sodium in the products you buy and choose foods that contain less than 100 mg per serving.

Do not use salt when cooking and do not salt your foods. Remove the salt shaker from the table to resist the temptation to salt your plate. Also avoid salt substitutes unless your doctor or dietitian allows it.

Avoid salty foods such as popcorn, french fries, bacon, cold cuts, canned meats and fish, cold cuts, hotdogs and pretzels.

Avoid foods that contain monosodium glutamate.

Decrease the number of times you eat outdoors, because the meals served in restaurants often contain a lot more sodium than homemade meals.
