Patient Who has Accepted Dialysis with Creatinine 1011umol/L TCM treatment

Mansoor is a patient from Pakistan, now he is 46 years old and have got married. Before come to China he has accepted dialysis two months. His creatinine level was higher than normal about 3years induced by polydipsia, polyphagia and urorrhagia for 18 years.

In 2013-10-25 19:00 he came to China for the first time. His disease conditions before treatment are as following: high blood pressure was 140/90mmHg, both lower extremities were slightly edema, urine volume was about 300ml/24h.

The result of test before treatment.

Blood Routine Examination: RBC 4.2×1012/L, hemoglobin 116g/L

Electrolyte: potassium 5.19mmol/L

Six Items of kidney function: creatinine 1011umol/L,urea nitrogen 19.0mmol/L

Urine Routine: glucose 2+, protein 2+, occult blood +, HBALC 6.25%, PTH10.2pg/ml.

Kidney Color Ultrasound: both of the kidneys outline are not clear, envelope is not smooth, right kidney is about 80×39×38mm, left kidney is about 83×41×37mm. Double renal parenchyma echo enhancement,The boundary is not obvious in cortex and medulla and collection system dispersion.

CDFI: the signal of blood flow was reduced

Ophthalmoscope shows: diabetic retinopathy

Result of diagnosis: Type 2 Diabetes, 5 stage of Diabetic Nephropathy, Diabetic Retinopathy, Renal Hypertension, Renal Anemia.

Treatment: and control blood glucose

Treatment methods:

1. Take oral Chinese herbal medicine to control blood glucose, reduce blood pressure and treat anemia.

2. Enema therapy: to assist detoxification

3. Hot compress therapy: put Chinese herbal medicine hot package on both side of kidney

4. Foot bath: Chinese herbal medicine decoction for juice

After treatment the patient’s blood pressure is stable. Six Items of kidney function: creatinine is 745umol/L, urine protein is 1.80g/24h,Ccr is 1.94ml/min,urine volume can up to 1000ml/24h on the day of dialysis.
