Some Etiology About The Glomerulonephritis

2018-10-12 15:01

To most kidney patients they should know the etiology of glomerulonephritis, and then they can get more benefit in treatment.

chronic glomerulonephritis, referred to as chronic nephritis, is characterized by proteinuria+, hematuria, hypertension and edema.

Whether nephritis is inherited or not depends on what kind of nephritis it is. Some nephritis is hereditary, especially hereditary nephritis, which can be inherited by the children. It is an autosomal dominant genetic disease and can be passed on to future generations. The symptoms of nephritis are generally not obvious at the onset of disease. Children often only have slight proteinuria and hematuria in urine examination, often aggravated after strenuous exercise or upper respiratory tract infection. In general, albuminuria gradually increases with age, and some cases may have severe albuminuria.

Group A and B hemolytic streptococci are the most important bacteria causing glomerulonephritis. After group A and B hemolytic streptococci infection causing tonsillitis and scarlet fever, the antigens of ascariasis combine with antibodies ( immunoglobulins ) in the human body to form antigen-antibody immune complexes, which deposit on the glomerular basement membrane and can cause a series of inflammatory reactions. Virus infection ( 20 % ):

Although the incidence of acute glomerulonephritis caused by influenza virus, measles virus, varicella virus, mumps virus, adenovirus and other infections is very low and its mechanism is still unclear, if there is a history of virus infection without symptoms of bacterial infection, urine changes slightly, and nephritis syndrome is not typical, it should be considered whether it is post-virus nephritis.

Others ( 15 % ):

Syphilis, brucellosis, typhoid fever, typhus, protozoa infection, mold infection and so on can also cause acute glomerulonephritis. Non – infectious diseases, such as foreign protein intake, drugs, tumors, systemic diseases such as lupus erythematosus, can also lead to acute glomerulonephritis.
